8A - Solving the Problem

Solving the problem won't be easy unless it is important to that person. I don't think people will seek out things that will potentially hurt them at a young age, but I think that information could be provided at the time of the need to assist in the decision making process.

The best way to spread information is to get it out there directly. I think there are a few ways to approach this:
-      Talk to local schools/community colleges and see if they have available spaces at some type of career fair.
-      Set up a booth at local farmers markets.
-      Open up a call center, or physical location people can come and ask for help.
-   Check for events at local community centers.

I’m not saying we can cure some type of disease, but I do believe it is possible for people to be more informed in a general sense about things that come up in almost everyone’s life. The people in the booths or call centers would not have all the answers, but they would work diligently with you to help solve the problem. They would help research who and what could be the best options. I don’t necessarily know how you turn this into a money-making venture at this time, but I will certainly keep trying to find it and keep expanding on this idea.

  1. Hey James,
I really enjoyed reading about your solution to your opportunity. First off, I really like your idea. Knowledge is power. It is very important, especially in today's day where competition is high, to stay updated and well-informed. Everything and everyone is moving so fast that if you fall behind, it can be hard to catch back up. Therefore, I think that any idea that would help young, unexperienced individuals stay up to speed is a good one. I like your solution because it is simple, yet effective.

  2. Hi James,
I think a good platform for the types of solutions you have would be an app. Maybe it has some videos teaching people about basic things such as how interest works and other financial advisement videos as well as a call center that would answer questions specific to a situation. Especially with how the internet works today, I think it would be a god idea to go mobile rather than in person due to it being more cost efficient.

  3. Hi James, thank you for your post. I think that you have a great opportunity to solve a big problem and help a lot of people. I also think that your idea could make a lot of money. However, I think that right now your solution is too broad. If you would be able to narrow down your plan to how it would specifically offer services to young adults, I think that it would be a great business opportunity.

  4. Hey James, your post was great. In modern times, people are growing up quicker and quicker, using the internet among other vehicles is a great way to educate the young. Financial services as such also can bring great profit to those providing them, which is a win-win being able to aid the community with fair compensation. nice article.
